CAPITOL SQUARE AND NATIONWIDE REALTY INVESTORS EXPAND PARTNERSHIP

Columbus, Ohio – based Nationwide Realty Investors (NRI) and the Capitol Square, Ltd. announced today that they have expanded their partnership in the Arena District and have established a new partnership in the Grandview Yard project. The announcement was made by NRI President and COO Brian J. Ellis and Capitol Square, Ltd. President Olin A. Jones.

“We are thrilled to be expanding this highly successful partnership,” said Ellis. “Capitol Square has been a great partner in the Arena District and we look forward to carrying that strong relationship to Grandview Yard.”

The partnership expands Capitol Square’s ownership in the Aren
a District from 10% to 20% and establishes a new 20% interest for Capitol Square in Grandview Yard.

“Our expanded investment in the Arena District and new investment in Grandview Yard demonstrates the strength of these great projects, the communities in which they are located, and the vision and track record of NRI,” said Jones. “To us, this is more than just an investment. It’s an expanded partnership with our community.”

Located less than a mile from The Ohio State University on the former Big Bear warehouse site and encompassing more than 80 acres, Grandview Yard’s plans include 1.5-2 million square feet of commercial space, including a significant retail component, restaurants, offices, and more than 600 residential (condo and apartment) units.

The Arena District is a $750 million, 75-acre mixed-use development located in downtown Columbus. The Arena District includes more than 1.5 million square feet of office, restaurants, entertainment, and residential uses.

The financial terms of the investments were not disclosed.
